A storm is coming

A storm is coming by V-Light
A thunderstorm is on it’s way! Photo taken just a few minutes ago capturing the view from my balcony p.s. I love me a good storm ❀

Hello my friends! πŸ™‚

Β  I’m sorry for my absence but i had some really annoying problems with my computer. My main hard disk failed and i had to buy a new one, install windows and all my programs from scratch only to have my computer freeze all the time because as i found out later my network adapter card was not compatible with a new update that windows had recently released. To make long story short, i spent too much time and energy to make my computer work again that i just needed a break from it all. Right now i’m re-organizing myself and my time so i can come back with lots of new projects πŸ™‚ I hope you’re all doing well. Tomorrow i’ll be checking on all the posts i missed all these days πŸ˜‰

    1. Thank you Robert πŸ™‚ I was thrown totally out of schedule with all that computer mess and i’m a terrible multitasker so i need to find my momentum again… I think i’m getting there…hehe

  1. I missed your posts and am glad you’re back! I love this image. How did you manage the timing on the lightening bolt? Do you have a lightening detector on your camera?

    1. Awww, thank you very much Kongo πŸ™‚ I had my camera on a tripod and was taking 30 second exposures, if a lightning fell during that exposure it would be captured. I did stand outside for about an hour though until i got a good one. It wasn’t a strong storm, you would see a faint lightning every 2 or 3 minutes. This one was the strongest one πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you πŸ™‚ Oh yes, i do love technology and i’m very tech savvy, i fix everything on my own but this time it really got on my nerves and i literally wasted many days until i found out what was really going on. I love my computer when it’s running well but when i know that there’s a problem, i can’t find my peace until i fix it πŸ˜›

  2. We’ve been there very recently, with freezes and all… I know exactly what you mean! Took way too long to find out what was happening and fix it – I totally sympathise! Plus we had a couple of storms in NYC too… so you don’t feel lonely πŸ™‚
