Art Sale for a New Life 61

Hello my friends! πŸ˜€

Β  We just passed the mid point of the campaign and we are currently at 61% of the funding goal. Say what? πŸ™‚ I know, i’m amazed and feeling truly blessed for actually achieving so much in a little more than 2 weeks. I couldn’t make it without your help and I want you to know that i’ll forever be grateful for that.

Β  With 14 days to go and still 39% to cover, i’m positive it can be done. They say, if it doesn’t happen it was because you didn’t want it bad enough. I want it bad enough, i never wanted something so bad and with your support we can make it happen.

Β  Please share the campaign with your friends, let’s use the power of social media, if you have a blog and think my campaign deserves a shoutout please do so πŸ™‚ Add your personal touch when you share the campaign link, it’s more likely that people will respond to it if you tell them why this might be worth their precious time…

Β  Also if you have an IndieGogo account or wouldn’t mind creating one, your comments on the campaign page can significantly help for two reasons. Strangers are most likely to contribute when they can read the opinion of other contributors and Indiegogo ranks campaigns with comments higher on the trending list, making them easier to be discovered.

Β  Until now all the contributors should have received a personal e-mail with a link to download my e-book and for those who claimed a print perk as well, a question about which print they want. Some of you have not responded yet, in case you didn’t get that e-mail please let me know. The sooner you tell me your choices, i can make a list and go to print all the photos together after the campaign ends so you can get your prints faster.

Β  Thank you once more for supporting my dream and showing me that anything is possible πŸ™‚

Alex V-Light

    1. Hey Sandy πŸ˜€ Thank you so much! Well, i thought i didn’t have anything to lose to try out IndieGogo. It does require a lot of effort prior and during the campaign but i couldn’t be happier to have made it this far πŸ˜€ It’s an enormous help for me and i’m very thankful to all the people who contributed or helped in any way! It’s amazing to receive so much support! I feel truly blessed! I cannot wait to move to Vienna, finally get a job and actually get paid for it! It’s ridiculous here, 400 euros monthly salary, no insurance…and well almost nobody gets paid…People have been waiting for months to receive their money, some will never get it…So even if you manage to get a job, doesn’t mean you will get paid… I’m very happy to leave this mess behind…

      1. I keep my fingers crossed for you that you find a new job in this very nice city and hopefully manage to live a better life! πŸ˜€ It’s a shame what happen’s in some countries…I’m so sorry for all the young people who cant see a chance in life, that must be horrible. Hopefully there are more like you, taking their life in their own hands and get out of this misery πŸ˜‰

        1. Thank you Sandy πŸ˜€ I really cannot wait to leave! Well, i think a big part of a country’s situation does result from the people. I will only say that i had very few positive comments about my campaign from Greek people. Most were quite degrading actually… They cannot see this as a nice way to fund your projects and that you give something nice back, they see it as begging…I think that says a lot… Many young people are content living of their parents money…Probably just too scared to follow their dreams, if they even have any 😦
