    1. Thanks Robert πŸ™‚ The time was very bad once again…I hate shooting at noon, especially when there aren’t any clouds…I’m really having a hard time post-processing these, cause the sky was almost colorless but there was so much color all around…That’s the price you pay when you rely on someone else to take you there. You can’t be picky with the time πŸ˜› After Austria, next step is to get a driver’s license πŸ˜‰

    1. The sky was a weird shade of gray with a slight tint of cyan..Thanks to Photoshop i added some blue to give it more justice. The rest was really that colorful πŸ™‚

  1. Yum! Makes me want to dive right in, Alex. I know what you mean about the time of day when you took the shot. It’s one of my biggest frustrations when travelling; you see these beautiful vistas but aren’t there at sunset/sunrise but you have to take the shot anyway because it’s your only opportunity. Still, it’s a beautiful image that transports me right there.

    1. πŸ˜€ Exactly!!! I don’t like to sound like i’m complaining all the time but it’s exactly what you said! When you have an amazing landscape and such a harsh light, with no option to come back later, you must take that shot and it won’t be anywhere close to what you actually felt about the place…No amount of photoshop can help either if you want to keep a natural look…I just made the sky darker and more saturated but i wouldn’t do anything more obtrusive πŸ™‚

  2. I’m having the same issues big style here in Spain, even with my own transport….Pre-dawn is 5.00am and I simply can’t manage that more than once a week, and dusk/sunset doesn’t really happen until just before 10.00pm by which time I’m absolutely starving and invariably put my stomach first…..
    ‘Golden hour’ is criminally inconvenient.

    1. Golden hour goes by so fast here in the south…It’s more like a few minutes than an hour…We need to go to Sweden or something. I heard it lasts for hours…Is it true?
