Exploring Donauinsel III

13.04.2015 | Donauturm and DC Tower 1, the two tallest buildings in Vienna, Austria

Here they are, the two tallest buildings of Vienna in one photo! 🙂 Donauturm (252meters) on the center of the photo and the DC Tower 1 (250meters with the antenna included) on the right. The Danube island offers a great panoramic view to some great architectural marvels but it’s also a unique place for nature lovers as you will discover on my next posts 😉

Have a great week my friends and don’t forget your comments are always welcome! Cheers!

    1. Thank you Javier! I shot several vertical photos to make this panorama, i intentionally left the distortion created by the wide angle lens 😀 I thought it created an interesting result, your comment reinforces that!

  1. They really do stick out as being so much larger than anything else around them. You are getting the lay of the land here in you new home…looking forward to seeing the next one 🙂

    1. 😀 Thank you Robert! It took me some time and after endless frustration cause i couldn’t capture the inner city’s architecture that people know and love about Vienna with my signature style, i turned to nature and found my “mojo” again! I will return to the city at some point but right now i’m more fascinated by the surroundings…

    1. 😀 I’m crazy about my clouds…As i said i go out and shoot almost every day…but most photos don’t make the cut cause i find the sky boring…Give me nice clouds and i’m in the 7th heaven!
