autumn might be already over, I had the feeling that it was really short this year, did you also think so?
Well, since I’m not a Christmas fan and Vienna with all the glitter and decorations doesn’t inspire me I’ll be posting some autumn photos for the next days, I hope you don’t mind! We can actually use some color right now when nature is muted and dark, unless of course it snows…then it’s another story 😉
the Donaukanal is one of my favorite places to photograph, in case you haven’t noticed that yet 😛 I love how different it can look and how the mood changes every day, you just have to tune in and feel it.
continuing our trip in Altmünster, the first picture offers a better view of the Pfarrkirche church. The light was very low inside and without a tripod most of the interior shots were blurry. The few that turned out a bit sharp (certainly sharper than most knives in my apartment) made it to the selection bellow.
Altmünster is a small town in upper Austria with a population of almost 10.000. It’s only 3km away from Gmunden, my beloved getaway destination and a tourist favorite as well. Just like Gmunden, Altmünster lays on the shores of Traunsee offering a great view of the Traunstein mountain. What’s even cooler is that you can easily walk or bike from one town to the other thanks to the spacious bike lanes. So if you can’t find a cheap accommodation in Gmunden, now you know where to look 😉
thank you all for your feedback on my last post. It’s really interesting to see the poll results, it seems that most of you want just a few lines of text and many don’t want any text at all. I guess that makes it easier for me to share more photos without having to think too much about what I’m going to write 😉
So here is a photo of a classic old tram in Vienna. They might not be as comfy as the new ones but they certainly have a lot of charm.
What do you think?
