the Donaukanal is one of my favorite places to photograph, in case you haven’t noticed that yet 😛 I love how different it can look and how the mood changes every day, you just have to tune in and feel it.
continuing our trip in Altmünster, the first picture offers a better view of the Pfarrkirche church. The light was very low inside and without a tripod most of the interior shots were blurry. The few that turned out a bit sharp (certainly sharper than most knives in my apartment) made it to the selection bellow.
what did I hear you say? You missed seeing my timelapses? Well guess what, you are in luck! 😛 I love doing timelapses and I did quite a few during my mysterious disappearance. This is just a short one for all the moon lovers out there. Hope you enjoy it 🌒
Altmünster is a small town in upper Austria with a population of almost 10.000. It’s only 3km away from Gmunden, my beloved getaway destination and a tourist favorite as well. Just like Gmunden, Altmünster lays on the shores of Traunsee offering a great view of the Traunstein mountain. What’s even cooler is that you can easily walk or bike from one town to the other thanks to the spacious bike lanes. So if you can’t find a cheap accommodation in Gmunden, now you know where to look 😉
thank you all for your feedback on my last post. It’s really interesting to see the poll results, it seems that most of you want just a few lines of text and many don’t want any text at all. I guess that makes it easier for me to share more photos without having to think too much about what I’m going to write 😉
So here is a photo of a classic old tram in Vienna. They might not be as comfy as the new ones but they certainly have a lot of charm.
What do you think?
it’s been a long time my friends. Life happened and I couldn’t find any time or energy to write on this blog. Working full time, trying to balance my private life and relationships meant I had to make some sacrifices, one of them was not posting anymore. It really saddened me and I often thought of posting something just to post something but I felt that was not good enough. I continued to photograph a lot during this time, I have a hard disk full of unseen awesome photos begging to be shared but I couldn’t find the time to write something meaningful to accompany them so I didn’t post anything. And here I want to ask you… How important is text to you? Please take a moment to vote on the poll below. I want to make V-Light Photography an enjoyable experience for all of us and your opinion is very important to me. Thank you for your time! 😀
The light was simply magical! There is very little editing done in this photo and also the previous one and i must say the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM can really perform for such a cheap lens. I’m really pleased with it and inspired to do more portraits this year!
Hello my friends! Are you still recovering from all the festivities and food overload? I will kick off 2017 with a portrait! My very first photoshoot for this year, weirdly enough, was a portrait session! It was a lovely day with my friend Julia, it was super cold but the awesome light and the fun we had was totally worth it! And you’ll see what i mean with awesome light in the next photos!
