it’s my birthday today and I thought that this is the perfect time to announce a new project I’ve been working on since the beginning of January.
If you happen to like watches you will love this 😉
It all began on 19 December when during a walk I had the epiphany that I could combine my two passions, photography and watches. I called it Watch Vagabond, since I’ll be showing only affordable watches, I don’t have a job and I wander all the time! Perfect match!!! I’ll be taking my watches on adventures and photograph them, in the future the concept might evolve and that’s why I love this idea, I’ve been super creative and motivated since I started this, not only concerning this project but also with my photography in general! Win-Win! 😀
winter is finally here!!! Well it was here last year at least 😛 For now it hasn’t been really that cold but in 2017, January was extremely cold!!! We had more than -10°C for over a week resulting to a frozen Danube river, an image that you don’t get to see that often. Although some parts were safe for people to ice-skate many were not, as you can see on the photo. The authorities warned about it but people are crazy and ignored all the warnings and you could even see families with baby strollers on ice…
Yours truly is a chicken so I didn’t walk on that ice, hahaha 🙂 That resulted in me still being here and sharing these photos with you now, so you are welcome 😛
if you haven’t been, the park around the Prater-Hauptallee is definitely worth a visit. Very beautiful nature and it is huge!!! Seriously, I’ve lived in Vienna for 3 years now, I’ve visited this area more than 20 times and I still can’t say I’ve been to every corner of this park! Need to put this in my goals list for 2018 😉
2018 is here to stay, for a year at least 😛 I hope you had a nice celebration even if that meant siting in your pajamas and eating cake.
I tried to go out and take some photos this year, well my tripod didn’t want to collaborate. It was slightly moving around making most of my photos blurry! But what the heck, if I have one new year’s resolution that would be to leave my perfectionism behind and just do stuff! Fall in love with photography again and have the energy to go out and try things without cancelling them in my head before I even go out and try them.
